Once you have started you need to keep momentum in order to achieve great results and exceed them regularly. It is usually not wise to try many things at the same time hence we need to set out for the one sure thing that will bring the results we need and make us fulfilled at the end of the day. People have been searching for years and not many have discovered what can bring them the satisfaction they seek. Never give up can become easier said than done when things don't work out the way we had planned or expected. The key to success is to never give up still.
A man once found a hidden treasure while going about his business. Nobody finds a hidden treasure without searching because if it was not hidden it would have been found by someone already. Most precious things in life are hidden and waiting to be discovered. This man who found the hidden treasure was so happy that he hid it again. Now who does that you might ask? This wise man did and many wise people still do. What he does next is what made him wise. He was so joyful and excited that he went and sold all that he had. Let me ask you if you have ever done this or even considered it? He was not afraid that the treasure he hid this time around will be discovered by someone else before he finishes selling all his things. Maybe he had few things to sell or a lot that could amount to the cost of the field. He considered that the best investment in his entire life to buy the field instead of going away with one treasure. He may have found more treasure than he could handle right on this very field and that is all he needs in his life. Remember that someone owned that particular field that he bought it from.
The best investments usually involves investing our lives in order to experience the true joy that we seek. The best investment in life is to invest your life in Christ. You will experience joy unspeakable.
The merchant set out to look for fine pearls and he invested his life into this discovery. How long will it take to find fine pearls? It may be the rest of his life but he kept on searching until he found one of great value. The value was great because he had to go and come back to buy it. He sold everything in order to be able to afford it. Pear of great value is what we should find and it leave other fine pearls once we find it because the value of one great pearl is more than the value of not so valuable but fine pearls.
Most precious things in life are hidden mysteries and we have to deliberately set out to find them and not just hold on to whatever we find or come across. This is why some people achieve the results that others only dream or read about. The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
Be ready to sell everything you have, do not hold tightly to anything in this world because they might prevent you from gaining the most valuable thing in life. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Yes, your true life is in Christ without whom you cannot make the best investment of your life.
