Speaking to trees and mountains

An hungry man is an angry man. Was Jesus impatient and angry becuse he was hungry? Does this teach us to curse trees or anything we expect to get something from and it does not give? Absolutely No!
One day Jesus was hungry and needed food. He saw a fig tree full of leaves from a distance and he went to see if he could get some figs but he was disappointed when he did not get figs from it because it was not yet the season for the tree to bear fruits.  Jesus cursed that tree saying that no one will ever eat fruit from it again.
Jesus expected this fig tree to have some fruits because fig trees often produce fruits before growing lots of leaves although it was not yet the main season of harvest. You need to read up on fig trees to fully comprehend this.
I will really like to focus on Jesus speaking to a tree as if it had ears. We humans speak to ourselves but Jesus demonstrated that it is possible to speak to nature. It is part of taking dominion which was God's original plan for us. Jesus proved that the words we speak are very powerful. They can have immediate or future effects. God created with words and then sent his Word.
The disciples were surprised that the tree withered completely from the roots. Are you still surprised? Jesus added that we can equally speak to the mountain to jump into the sea and it will be done. This is real and not Lord of the rings!
What do we need to accomplish this? Faith and speech. Faithless people are always quiet when they need to speak but speak when they need to be quiet. Nature can hear words just the same way so many of us can but it requires faith in God.
For those who want to speak and see results either immediately or in future then we need to align our motives and will with God. You cannot just open your mouth to say anything you wish. You must spend time in prayer.
God has promised to give us what we ask for but we are keeping silent and wondering how our lives can get better by doing things are own way or with rational mind.
You can speak not only to trees and mountains but also to situations in your life. Your words are very powerful just like catalysts. Speak the right word in faith and see progress in your life. Keep speaking to situations and they will move. I am stepping out to speak to that mountain now!
