There was a city

How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!

Jeremiah wrote poems about the destruction of Jerusalem. The city once so full of people now sit alone like a widow. The nation was great among nations but now was now deserted like tributary emptying itself into other nations.

National transformation is important to God and that was why he sent his disciples to preach the gospel to all nations. They will hear the good news of the kingdom of God and the people will not be without hope. Each one should contribute to national development so that everyone can enjoy the blessings of the land. God wants you to take on the responsibility of serving your nation with kingdom principles.

For our nation to experience a transformation, the people will have to work together towards a common goal despite our different cultures and beliefs. We need to strengthen the existing institutions so that we all can flourish.
